Terms of Sale

Every work offered here is a unique original painted by Sudha Srivastava. The studio issues no editions, prints, or reproductions of a painting it has sold.

Once a work is marked sold it leaves the catalogue and cannot be reordered.

Adding a painting to your crate saves it in your own browser so you can come back to it. It does not reserve the work or hold it against another buyer, and the studio cannot see what is in it.

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees. Any tax, packing and delivery due on a work is confirmed in writing before you pay, and the studio will not add a charge afterwards.

Card and UPI payments through this site are paused while the payment gateway is being set up. A work listed on Mojarto is bought there, on that platform's terms; anything else is invoiced directly by the studio once the details are agreed with you.

Works are packed by the studio and sent by an insured courier. The studio will write to you with a despatch date once a sale is agreed, and again with tracking when the work leaves.

A painting that needs longer to dry before it can safely travel will be held until it is ready. The studio will tell you if that applies to your work rather than leave you waiting.

Each work is unique and sold as seen, with photographs supplied before purchase, so sales are final in the ordinary course.

If a painting reaches you damaged in transit, tell the studio within seven days and send photographs of the work and its packing. The studio will arrange a refund or a repair at its own cost.

Every painting is signed by the artist. A written confirmation of authenticity, giving the title, size, medium and year, is provided with the work on request.
